When making an online payment, sometimes it’s nice to get it done and over with as quickly as possible. However, other times it can be beneficial to spend some additional time managing an account before or after the payment process has taken place. Luckily, New York Life AARP customers get to have it BOTH ways. Those who wish to take care of an online payment as quickly as possible can begin by going to the online customer service portal and clicking the Pay as a Guest link to enter a certificate number and the last name, date of birth, and last 4 digits of the Social Security Number of the owner. Prior to hitting the Continue button to proceed with the payment, an email address must be entered so that follow-up payment confirmation can be sent (always a good idea to get confirmation of EVERYTHING being paid over the phone or online).

- Auto pay can be canceled by clicking the Cancel Automatic Premium Payment tab

Customers who need to manage other aspects of an account outside of just making an online payment will want to login to the NYL AARP customer service site with a username and account password instead of choosing the “Pay as a Guest” option. Once logged in the bill can be paid online in addition to handling any other needed account management items. Many questions about the online payment process can likely be answered by reviewing the information found under the Frequently Asked Questions section. Customers who are having trouble getting into an account can dial 800-850-2658 between the hours of 8 AM and 8 PM ET Monday through Friday and between 9 AM and 5 PM ET on Saturdays to speak with a New York Life representative (there’s usually something way more entertaining to do after 5 PM on a Saturday anyways).
